IGUS xiros® xirodur® B180 Thin Section Polymer Ball Bearings: These open type thin section radial deep groove ball bearings consist of polymer cages and glass balls. They are for use with temperatures up to +80 deg C. The specially developed material xirodur® B180 provides significantly longer life times at a lower cost. These thin section ball bearings only require half of the space compared to the standard xiros® polymer ball bearings. These bearings are ideal for applications that require lubricant-free ball bearings and maintenance-free dry operation. They are also suitable for applications which require corrosion resistance, non-magnetic ball bearings or a light weight bearing. Typical applications include mechanical engineering, handling systems and light construction. Benefits: Space saving, low friction, low weight, lubrication- and maintenance-free, corrosion-resistant. |
