Mitre Gears

These mitre gears are commonly used in gearboxes, to change drive direction by 90 degrees without altering speed, using equal tooth counts on both gears. Commonly supplied in pairs to ensure correct meshing and consistent tooth engagement across the drive. Because both gears share the same tooth count, they are typically supplied and fitted as a matched pair rather than individually.
