Rod Seals

These rod seals are commonly used in hydraulic cylinders, to prevent fluid leakage along the piston rod and exclude dirt as the rod moves in and out. Critical for maintaining cylinder pressure and protecting internal components from moisture and contamination ingress. Correct surface finish on the rod itself is important, as a scored or damaged rod can quickly wear through even a correctly fitted seal.
