Needle Roller Cages

These needle roller cages are commonly used in gearboxes and compact machinery, to hold needle rollers in correct alignment and spacing as they run directly on a hardened shaft or housing bore. This reduces friction and cost compared to a full bearing assembly, while maintaining accurate roller spacing under load. Full complement assemblies, without a cage, can be used where maximum load capacity is needed and the slightly higher friction is an acceptable trade-off.
