PTFE Sealing Rings & Cord

These PTFE sealing rings & cord are commonly used in aggressive chemical applications, to provide resistance and low friction where standard elastomer seals would degrade quickly. Their rigidity compared to elastomer seals means they are often used with a supporting energiser ring. Because they don't compress like an elastomer, they're often paired with an internal spring or o-ring to provide the necessary sealing force.
