Description
NAK SC Nitrile Oil Seals: Oil seals are used in a variety of different applications in which a rotating shaft is lubricated by oil or grease. They are engineered to facilitate the smooth operation of your equipment, serving as a barrier to prevent the leakage of oils and greases while also keeping foreign substances from entering. SC type seals (Also commonly called R21 seals) are one of the most commonly used types, they have a rubber-covered outside diameter with a single sealing lip on the inside diameter. The SC types feature a garter spring which allows some give to prevent a build-up of friction. (Seals under 5mm width may not always feature a spring.)
Benefits: Excellent wear resistance, good running properties, high resistance to chemicals and petroleum-based fuels including petrol, diesel and LPG.
